Hearing Impairments

Hearing loss can affect a child’s ability to develop speech, language, and social skills.

The services provided by our Teachers of the Hearing Impaired will help young children with hearing loss learn language skills as well as other developmental skills.

Visual Impairments

A child with a visual impairment may reach developmental milestones at a slower pace. The delay is directly related to the child’s visual impairment and is not related to cognition.

Early Intervention is a critical service for students with visual impairments as it builds a foundation for further learning.
