MIU IV Educational Consultant Diane McGaffic received the national evidence-based certification granted by The Institute for Performance Improvement (TIfPI). 

Certified School Improvement Specialists (CSIS™) must prove they have facilitated the systemic improvement and transformation of a school or school district.

Diane submitted an application for a blind review by trained readers who are expert school improvement practitioners.  

Ms. McGaffic has served as a school improvement facilitator for over four years helping schools improve performance at the student, teacher, and leader levels. 

Diane's effectiveness was confirmed by attestations from school leaders and three years of documented performance data that included gains in student achievement scores, as well as other metrics. 

Diane was only one of five awardees to receive this certification in Pennsylvania.
