Midwestern Intermediate Unit #4 BrainSTEPS Team has been awarded the inaugural "BrainSTEPS Team Exceptional Performance Award" for the 2023-2024 school year. 

Only four out of 29 Intermediate Unit BrainSTEPS teams received this distinction.

 

Under the leadership of School Social Worker Bryda Drumm, the BrainSTEPS Team includes the dedicated professionals:

Richael Fertig, Supervisor of Special Education

Nikkie Allen, Early Intervention Coordinator

Amy Miller, Speech, Feeding & Swallowing

Jen Guthrie, Social Worker

Amanda Hoban, Behavior Coach

Linda Delvaux, Educational Consultant

Abby Zorilla, Occupational Therapist

 

To achieve this distinction, the team met rigorous time and effort requirements and provided outstanding support to students, parents, and educators in Butler, Lawrence, and Mercer counties.
