STAPES

STAPES (Social-Emotional, Technology, Advocacy, and Partnership Experiences at School) is a program that brings students from neighboring districts together to connect, learn, and practice Expanded Core Curriculum skills alongside other students that are deaf and hard of hearing. The Expanded Core Competencies (ECC) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing is a comprehensive description of the unique needs of students who are deaf and hard of hearing including the supplemental learning and functional skills that  may be needed to support their educational success.
